David Buhler-Singer/Songwriter, Beer Rockenteur.

2013 marked the release of my first album What You Dream. These songs span almost 20 years of songwriting and performing. Working with Carla Torgerson of The Walkabouts and Sound Engineer and musician Julian Martlew we put together a ripping crew of regional musicians to fill out my songs. I play acoustic rhythm guitar and sing lead vocals on all songs. I am joined by some of the areas best performers; Scott Law, Skerik, Wayne Horvitz and more. As these songs were written through two decades of my life the album varies from porch swing country to groove rock and memphis blues.

The German label Glitterhouse Records called What You Dream “an alt-country gem” and “an americana cocktail”.

In late 2014 I released my second album Lay Low. These songs were mostly written in the span of the previous year. With less overall musicians but the same core Lay Low sticks to a single genre; West Coast American Country Rock, influenced by 60’s/70’s bands like Manassas & Poco. Recorded with Scott Law on Guitar and Mandolin, Joe Wilmhoff on bass and Will Dowd on Drums.

My third recording is an 8 song EP called Broken Blue Sky. Recorded with a trio in the studio versus major amounts of overdubbing. Broken Blue Sky has a tight bar band honky tonk sound. Recorded with Jeff Fielder on electric guitar, Keith Lowe on bass and Denali Williams on drums. Broken Blue Sky will be released January 4, 2017 with a show at Seattle’s Tractor Tavern.

Album #4 Self Storage is set to release in October 2018. Backed by the power rock trio of Cracker Factory this release puts the rock in folkrock.
